T-Junction is a programme run by Leicestershire County Council to give young people the best opportunity to be safe on the roads.

We operate two different driving days depending on the experience of the young person, and the days take place throughout the year at locations in Leicestershire.

Taking place at Mallory Park, near Kirkby Mallory, these days are run for year 11/12 students, who are 16 or 17 and have not yet started to take driving lessons, and gives them the opportunity to get behind the wheel in a safe, secure environment and start off their driving in the best way possible.

As well as the chance to get hands-on tutoring from approved driving instructors, our event days are also attended by representatives of the Emergency Services, who will talk all about their experiences with the roads and explain just what can happen if safer driving is forgotten.

Holding a valid license is only the start of becoming a good driver, and our Young Driver days are designed to help improve the skills of young people who have recently passed their driving tests.
