Have you passed Level 2 Bikeability? Why not move on to Level 3?

Our Level 3 courses will provide with all the skills you need to cycle safely on the road:
-Plan your journey to school or elsewhere on any roads.
-Use complex junctions and other road features.
-Become confident with roundabouts, multi-lane roads, and traffic lights
-‘Filter’ to keep moving through heavy traffic.
-Make decisions on the move and interpret road signs.
Become a confident cyclist, capable of dealing with hazards and challenging traffic situations.

Leicestershire Road Safety and Travel Awareness Team can provide an advanced Level 3 Bikeability cycle course for secondary school students who wish to cycle to school.
The course costs just £20.00 per student per session and each session is approximately 2 hours.
A base line assesment will take place first.
Please note that all students wishing to take part in this course must have a roadworthy bike.
Level 3 cycling is a progression from Level 2 which is undertaken in primary school (although Level 2 can also be offered in secondary school if youngsters have missed it when in primary school).
Level 3 includes:
-1 session of 2 hours
-1 trainer per 2 cyclists
-All cyclists are provided with hi-vis jackets and are advised to wear a helmet
-Aimed at years 7,8 and 9
