T Junction is a website run by Leicestershire County Council to give young people the best opportunity to be safe on the roads.
Leicestershire County Council Road Safety Education Team offers year 11/12 students, who are 16/17 and have not yet started to drive, the opportunity to take part in a Pre-Driver Day aimed at young people who are interested in learning to drive.
The course offers a variety of workshops highlighting key issues faced by young and inexperienced drivers. The course will include an introduction to driving, issues relating to speed, impairment and also a practical off road driving session using the Mallory Park track and paddock area accompanied by a qualified driving instructor in a dual controlled car.

The course costs £35 for residents of Leicestershire County, although the course is also open to Leicester city and Rutland residents (please get in touch to check availability and costs if this applies and you are interested in attending).

The Road Safety and Travel Awareness Team wish to take pictures/film of the Pre Driver Day for future promotion of the course.
By giving permission for any official photograph/film to be used in any publication produced by the County Council, on its website and to be made available to the schools that attend the event and to the media. This is on the understanding that the County Council will try to ensure that anyone accessing the photos via the Internet will use them only in connection with the above purposes, but acknowledge that the Council cannot guarantee that other persons will not use the photographs for different purposes.
