Pre Driver Day Terms and Conditions of attending
Venue – Mallory Park, Kirkby Mallory, Leicestershire. LE9 7QE
Time – 9.00 – 16.00
Once you have booked a place, you are agreeing to abide by all the conditions outlined below. Therefore please read all the details and if you have any questions, please contact 0116 3057233 or email us using the contact form.
- The course is £50.00 pp. This is non-refundable once a booking has been confirmed
- All participants are required to bring a packed lunch, as there are no catering facilities or shop on site. Free tea, coffee and squash will be provided at breaks and lunchtime
- All participants should dress appropriately for the weather, as some activities involve walking around outside. It can be cold and has been known to rain on occasions
- There is a no smoking policy operated on the day
- All mobile phones are restricted to use during break times only and must be switched off, or on silent during the course
- It is important that you mention any medical or other conditions that may affect attendance or driving on the day, in the booking form.
- **If your child has in any way been affected by being involved, or knowing someone who has been involved in a road traffic collision, please write this on the booking form.
- Photographs / film of the day may be taken on any occasion. If you do not wish the person attending to be included in any photos or film please ensure you indicate this on the booking form. By giving permission for any official photograph/film to be used in any publication produced by the County Council, on its website and to be made available to the schools that attend the event and to the media. This is on the understanding that the County Council will try to ensure that anyone accessing the photos via the Internet will use them only in connection with the above purposes, but acknowledge that the Council cannot guarantee that other persons will not use the photographs for different purposes.

- Part of the course involves a practical driving session with an approved driving instructor in a duel controlled car. This driving session takes place on the track and paddock area of Mallory Park
- Please arrive in time for the course to begin promptly at 9.00am. The place on the Pre Driver Day will close at 9.15 and may be offered to another young person on the waiting list.
- Places are allocated on a “first come first served” basis and no booking is confirmed without payment
- On arrival at Mallory Park please drive slowly observing the signage for the Pre Driver Day. Go through gate ‘A’ which is signed Pre Driver Day and follow the track to the car park. Park and walk over the bridge to the grey building where staff will be waiting to meet you. Please exit via the same route
- On arrival to collect the young person please use the same gate and parking facility. Wait outside the grey building until the course has finished at 4pm and exit following the same route
- On no account must you enter the track area or allow the young person who has attended the day to drive around the track and facilities at Mallory Park.
- All young people are required to stay on site from 9.00 – 16.00. Leicestershire County Council staff are NOT responsible for any young person who chooses to leave at any time. Staff will make every effort to contact someone via the emergency contact given on the booking form to make them aware of the situation
- Although we are often asked if adults can stay and watch unfortunately we cannot allow this. If you are travelling from a fair distance there are other amenities a short drive away. A good website for information is www.visithinckleyandbosworth.co.uk .
Once your booking and payment has been received, a confirmation email will be sent to you.
